room to live -or- living room?

After making our furniture hang in there I finally gave up on it.  I have been begging for a sectional for a couple of years, but alas, our living room is too small - in fact it's too small for a love seat/couch combo, but I don't care!  I have some before & after pics for you.  Just in case you can't tell tell the above picture in the 'old', the one on the right is the 'new'.

My issue is with the toys.  Bill says we're raising children - not grass...ummm, that refers to a comic strip (Baby Blues) about a dad lementing the kids wrecking their lawn.... but none-the-less we do have children and we do have a small house.  The living room is also the play room, and it's also the movie room, so the multi-purpose room is often crowded, messy, loud & stinky!

I just hope the couches make it to a time when it can be clean and quiet-
