ping-pong
n ping-pong [ˈpiŋpoŋ]
Ping pong is an ancient form of torture in which two or four people attempt to hit a lightweight - almost invisible, hollow ball back and forth with paddles- not boat paddles mind you, you might be able to hit something with those, no these are about as wide as a hand, and many times it's easier to throw the paddle at your foe, uh, I mean the other player and hit the stupid ball with your hand. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net that seems to rise every time you hit the stupid ball. Players must allow a ball played toward them only one (or two) bounce/s on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side - or maybe just the foe's side of the room. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules or the other player forgets the score and you can cushion your losses a bit . Play is fast and demands quick reactions and full control over sudden cursing outbursts.
You may remember I am also well versed in Racquet Ball...

I do remember the racquet ball definition...maybe you need to try a sport that doesn't involve a racquet/paddle. :) What about handball? or volleyball?
