5...4...3...2..1..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!    

We generally have a pretty quiet celebration to bring in the new year.  We like to get a puzzle (or two...one for Danni to work on) and see if we can finish before the clock turns over to a new day.  No luck here, but we had fun trying, and eating, and singing to the music on the radio.

It did get finished the next morning though, and the gingerbread house came awfully close to being finished!

We snacked on Charlotte Willians' Mexican dip, sparkling cider, chocolate covered strawberries, and this year I made our own cinnamon toasted nuts.

I have had a great year!  There have been some low points, but they make the high points even higher.
