I have been busy posting on my photo blog with two new shoots. And my garden blog. So I haven't been totally an inactive blogger lately.
I have to admit - I got weak. I finally caved after 31 days of complete dedication to 500 calories. I took a couple of days off. Then I realized how stupid that was, I worked so hard to get where I was and why would I throw it all away to eat? I crawled back up on the wagon, but those two days set me back a week! I couldn't believe how adversely it effected me. Then I got bummed and took one more day off. Bill suggested maybe 30 days...25 pounds is enough for now. I didn't break any records with my weight loss, but I did lose and I feel so much better. I am still 7 pounds off my goal. I'll get 'em next time.
Now I am doing 3 more days of 500 calories without the drops. Then I start eating 1500 calories a day for 3 weeks, this is what is supposed to 'set point' my body and make it so I don't gain weight back. The only rule I see about this portion of the diet is no starches or sugars. I can finally have fats! Cheese, avocados, milk, salad dressings, olive oil, just as long as I keep my intake under 1500 calories. If more than 2 pounds adds itself on I can take a day and eat one serving of protein and an apple.
I would love to hear how others are doing on this program, I haven't set the bar too high!
