ultra thin...

I've already been told by a couple of people to be careful losing weight and don't go too far, which looking at me I think that's funny! I have been off the Phentermine and not lost an ounce! I have even gone up and down a bit this week. So I'm going back on, I'll get off when I'm at the weight I want to be at. I was signing on when I saw a news line about Ralph Loren and photo touching. This was the picture the article was about. Holy guacamole! This looks scary! Ralph Loren was threatening 2 entities with law suite because they used this photo to show women the stupidity of comparing their normal un-starved un-photoshopped bodies to those of models in print ads. The Google Blogspot hosted "Photoshop Disasters" pulled their photo off (wimps - let them come after me! My readership of 17 people will make waves!!) But the one from Canada didn't back down "saying that the company's attempt to silence their criticism has only inspired them to step up their efforts in the future:
"Copyright law doesn't give you the right to threaten your critics for pointing out the problems with your offerings. You should know better. And every time you threaten to sue us over stuff like this, we will:
a) Reproduce the original criticism, making damned sure that all our readers get a good, long look at it, and;
b) Publish your spurious legal threat along with copious mockery, so that it becomes highly ranked in search engines where other people you threaten can find it and take heart; and
c) Offer nourishing soup and sandwiches to your models.""
Good for them!
I also enjoyed this:
Jezebel editor-in-chief Anna Holmes told Yahoo!, "I don't see any point in retouching anymore ... The cat's out of the bag." She added, "I think Americans in particular are sick of having the wool pulled over their eyes ... even if it's regarding fashion models and actresses. The more they do this sort of retouching -- and then try to justify it, as the editor of SELF magazine recently did -- the less anyone believes anything else they have to say, or show. They are, in a sense, digging their own (shallow) graves."
You can find the whole article here.
There's been a video hitting Facebook recently which I did share with my daughters...

I have messed up my girls by spending the last 18 years talking about my weight and looks rather than the health risks involved with my weight. I still have Danni, maybe I can do better there.

I had my girls watch that Dove video the other day, too. I've decided if I had a team like that to help me every morning, I may not look so tired. Of course, I'd be late to everything...

I have seen that video before and I totally love it!

The picture at the beginning of your post is totally scary. It looks like the model's head belongs to someone else. Whatever - I'm tired of emaciated girls!

You go ahead and lose as much weight as you want! :) You and your doctor have talked about your goals and I'm sure you have the ability to know when enough is enough. :)
