2009 Annual October Inman Apple-shmear Event!

Just in case you have missed out on our annual event, I will run through the particulars again using our Family Night game pics from yesterday:
1st: You need a racket.2nd: A pitcher with plenty of old apples to pitch....3rd: Batter SWINGS! and bits of apple fly everywhere!4th: (and this is where you might get a bit confused...) the batter runs....(I know - that wasn't confusing...but wait) to a base pre-appointed by a random player called first. Mean while the other players look for pieces of apples that closely resemble the bits that spewed from the batter's racket... ...the runners are chased by people holding apple bits or have apple bits thrown at them as they run around the bases until they are out or home....It can get sticky, and it might look a bit perplexing to the casual observer - There are no teams, there is no age requirement...And helping one another is always a plus!Another nice thing about this game is that you can eat (a few) of the pitches that don't make it across the plate.

I think Enoch says it best when he says, "ooooh, dadadit humph!)

Tawny was a a mayor's council, she missed out! We'll get her extra sticky next year - want to join? I'm thinking about having T-shirts made:-)
