Another noise I heard in the park was "snap...smack", the snap comes from the acorns or walnuts breaking from the branch, the smack is the sound of them slamming into the ground. It's dangerous around the trees from now until mid October. The merry go round happens to be right under one of the trees, so if you're into extreme sports, go play on the merry go round at McCullough park.

I was in the health food store a couple of weeks ago and they have these adorable 'nuts' of creme perfume. I dipped my finger into the sample labeled 'Mango' and tried a dab. A few hours later I realized the fragrance was still there! I had to go get one. After getting Bill to come in and sniff the 6 different scents I applied to 6 different parts of my arms we narrowed it down to Memosa and Melon.
Bill said the Memosa vaguely reminded him of an old woman, so I went with the Melon. I excitedly paid the $20.00 for my nut and took my treasure home. I was sad to find the scent didn't last as long as the other had. I wrote the company and they told me to read the reviews, so I did. It ends up that the scent lasted too long for some! Each scent lasts for different amounts of time on different people. Do you ever think a scent didn't 'fit' someone? I guess our bodies are designed for certain scents... like lip stick colors. I still like my nut, and it's easy to take along if I need to re apply. They have more scents on their web site and I discovered that they have organic vanilla and rose. Now I must make another choice! I wish I could sample them first and see how long they last. The lady at the company told me to hold off until Sept 28th because they'll be reducing the price...hmmmm, maybe I'll get them both!

Today was a definate save day for our family to remember for the rest of our lives.
you nut!
I love when you can feel memories building. You are in the moment, but you're able to think "I'm going to remember this years from now. This very moment. This very memory." I think it heightens all of your senses...
I was going to say just what JoEllen said, although not as eloquently. So just read her comment again and pretend it was me. ;)
