I needed a change

I get this way about every 5 years or so, I just want to cut all my hair off, and it's usually after a hot spell. Bill loves my hair, he prefers long hair over short. I try to take that into consideration, but I get sick of always putting into a scuncci at the back of my head. What good is long hair if it's pulled back 87% of the time?

I went to get it cut a few weeks ago at the Master Cuts in the mall. I told her to keep the length and put in some long layers. Then I suffered with an awful looking coif for three weeks. I decided if that cut wasn't working for me, I would lop it all off. I was really planning on a drastic cut. I was thinking that cute Meg Ryan do ...I really thought that I might be able to pull it off. I put a lot of prayer into this (I know, such a silly thing to pray about), I mostly prayed for my stylist to be inspired. I really don't like dealing with a bad hair cut! Maybe that's why I get my hair cut about once every year and a half...I had gone to the Muncie Moms website and asked for their picks on salons. JC Penny was suggested the most, so I went in at 8:00 this morning sat down and told her that I'd like to go short with an inside weave layer (I did some research on the net on my hair type and found that suggestion for non 80s curly air...) Madonna (my stylist) said that my head would look like a square box if we did that. She said that with the thickness I shouldn't go short, and that she could do some thinning to help it lay flatter. She also said who ever cut my hair last cut it so the top layer was actually longer than the bottom, bad cut! She did a great job. Bill will be relieved that it's still fairly long, I guess I went into the 'medium length' now.

Now to take care of these pesky roots!
