Yesterday was the beginning of week three for my little 'program' (if you missed it go here). I decided to weigh myself only once a week and that ends up being a Thursday (weird day, I know.). My first week was depressing, 1 lb, but this week was a little better - 3 lbs, so that makes 4 all together (in case math isn't your forte:-). I was hoping for more a dramatic start, but I'll take what I can get.
On my walks I've been keeping a more aggressive pace. I was hoping some caloric burn would be assisting, but I guess my walks are only helping me mentally, so I'll deal. My lifting has been disrupted because now that tawny can drive them to seminary I don't have that hour to blow at the 'Y', and I choose to get more snooze time instead, maybe not so good a choice... I do go to yoga on Thursday afternoons and notice that the poses are much easier to hold and moving between them has become smoother.
I was actually able to hold the half boat for the whole pose.
I try not to worry about Bill and Tawny next to me holding full boat, I'll get there!
The half moon has become a favorite of mine-
so has the tree pose. One of my yoga DVDs said that the tree pose is symbolic of our lives, if we can find balance in one area, we can find balance in every area, hmmm........or should I say oummmmmm.....
I'm only a few posts away from my 200th post! I think I feel a give away coming on!!!!

I think any loss is a great start! It sounds like you're doing really well. I'm all about weighing in only once a week. I think if you do more than that, you just get discouraged when the numbers aren't dropping. I too love that tree pose! Don't forget to balance both sides. :)
