I put David on the beach in this picture to help his motivation. If he makes so many sales he gets a trip to the beach. So we're pulling for him here on the home front.
He's been hitting some snags. Incidences with police, store managers, flat tires, dead batteries, no gas, no sales, and so on. He did get a priesthood blessing from a bishop in TX and that helped him quite a bit. He was told that this is preparing him for his mission, because it's going to be HARD! He seemed more pleased than I would have been upon hearing news like that, but maybe it's because he knows his suffering is for a higher purpose.
Enoch is starting to get a little 'stranger danger' going. He doesn't cry, not out loud. A sweet friend was holding him today and asked if he was crying, I looked at him and his lower lip was out and trembling and he had tears running down his cheek. It was so adorably heart wrenching. He looked so stoic, yet sad. I've never seen anything like it. He really is not much of a crier, but he gets very vocal when he's hungry!
Tawny is heading out to somewhere in Washington to a beach with a friend, she's trying to earn the money for the airline ticket, but her friend's mom has already purchased it for her and she's paying it back as she can. So much for the summer job! Luckily I have a nice friend who hires her from time to time and way over pays:-)
Harrison and Bill are officially freaks, they've been told that at a scout camp by a man teaching self defence. there's a spot where the line of the nostrils meets the upper lip area and pushing on it should be painful, but not to them, my eyes teared up - so I'm not a freak:-) This is Harrison cooling off at camp,
