coming clean 6 months in

26 weeks...6 months, that's how long you have had to endure my program!
I have lost 53.2 lbs in all, that averages out to a little over 2 lbs per week. I've gone from size 20 to size 14.
I saw Dr. Peterson yesterday, he checks on me every 3 months. He asked how much further I was going to go, I said around 30 more lbs, for the first time since I started seeing him he disagreed with me. He felt around 20 to 25 would be OK. He said that with my bone structure I require some 'meat'.
I need to come clean about something, I have wanted this to be a totally honest post, no secret tricks, I want to make my journey completely public and hopefully inspire someone along the way. So I have to admit to you...I finally weigh what it says I weigh on my driver's license! That's right I fudged my weight by 53 lbs!! So bad! Now, to make up for that blatant dishonesty should I go fix it once I've lost the rest of my weight?
I also want to tell you that when I started this program I weight in at 254 lbs. I actually peeked at 264 a few months before that. My goal was to be under 200 by October, I missed it by .8 pounds!
So now what? I'm stopping the Phentermine. I think it did it's job, and I want to see if I can fly solo from here. I'm still on my herbal sip and liquid fasts, yoga, exercise and so on. (go here for details on the program) By the way -For those who want to do some of these things, but can't figure out how to do an herbal sip for your body type, a good way to start is do lemon water. Boil the water for 5 minutes, let it rest 5 minutes, then juice a lemon into it. Put that water in a thermos and carry it around taking sips every 1/2 hour or so, more if you're thirsty.
So anyway I'm gearing up for winter, I know the weight won't come off as easy. Baked goods are a down fall of mine! Add that to the cold weather and less walking, I'm just going to enjoy it. I'm not going to stop trying, I'm just going to stop stressing about it. I'll still weigh in and report on Thursdays. Stick with me through this!

Kristie--

I lied about my weight on my Driver's License, too! When I was 16, I put 175 on my license but I really weighed over 200! I peaked at 215 at the end of my sophomore year and got down to 135 the summer after I graduated, but it just didn't look good on me (so don't lose too much...your doctor's right)! Dorm food fattened me up some, but I'm okay with where I am now! I'm so happy for you--you look GREAT!

Everyone lies on the drivers licence, unless you are the 1% population who is comfortable with their weight!
