I've had a little more time to think. I want to show who I am. I think most of my friends who read my blog (and they must care for me if they come back every once in a while!) don't really know me. This is me on Tigger. He was my horse, I had to sell him when we moved from Colorado, this was actually one of my last trail rides with him. We were with some friends at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, This is me, no saddle and riding on cliff edges while everyone else got off to lead their horses. This is how I grew up.
It's so different from how I live now, living in the middle of the city, riding public transportation, sitting on the board of a gallery, yelling at people who run the stop sign outside our house. We have always been happy, wherever we have lived. We've made poor choices in the past, and we have made amazing choices as well. Right now we are choosing to live beneath our means in order to correct some past 'wrongs'. We are only 2 years from being totally debt free, home and all. That is freedom. Then will come the 'luxuries' like food (OK we eat pretty good, I'm proof of that:-), vehicles made in this decade, property, horses, etc.... I stay at home, another choice, but a good one, one that requires sacrifice.
I know this may seem a bit rambley and maybe too personal, but I like who I am, all of me, and this is an important part that doesn't get to come to the surface much!
