It's funny, because my younger son uses the excuse "I can't play because we're cleaning the house," when he doesn't want to play with a certain friend. I make my 2 ye...I fall into the mean mom category. I make my 2 year old pick up his toys before dinner, and if he can't get it done by dinner time then he doesn't get to eat. Yes, I will put him to bed without dinner. Yes, I make him clean up after himself and yes, I expect him to do so when I say. I'm okay with being a mean mom.
